Cost of PVC Fencing in Brisbane: Panel Kit Prices vs Installed Quotes
A Moreton full privacy PVC fence panel kit is listed at $171.10, a Stradbroke partial privacy kit at $181.49 and a Hamilton semi-privacy slatted kit at $193.96. All three are 1800H x 2388W kits, priced including GST as listed in the shop on 8 October 2026. The Bulimba kit is listed as "Contact for Pricing".
Those are supply prices for one supplied kit each. They aren't per-metre rates and they aren't installed prices. An installed quote covers a finished fence on your boundary, including the work your site needs, so it has to be priced for your property. This guide doesn't give an installed range or a per-metre estimate. It explains how a kit price differs from an installed quote and what to ask so you can compare budgets.

These three kits had a listed price on our PVC fence panel kits page when we checked it on 8 October 2026. The prices are as listed there, including GST.

Some things to keep in mind when reading this table:
- Each price is for one panel kit as listed. It isn't a price per metre and it isn't an installed price.
- Prices can change. Check the product page or ask for a current quote before you set your budget.
- Not every kit shows a price. On the same date, the Bulimba semi-privacy kit was listed as "Contact for Pricing" (shop listing, retrieved 8 October 2026). If you're interested in an unpriced kit, ask about it when you request a quote.
- Confirm what the kit includes. Ask exactly which parts come with each kit and which are priced separately, so your total covers a complete fence rather than panels alone.

Why a kit price isn't an installed price
A supply price tells you what the product costs. An installed quote tells you what it costs to have that product built as a fence along your measured boundary. The installed figure takes in the site, the labour and anything else the job needs. None of that appears in a panel kit price.
You'll often see these figures side by side, which is why people mix them up. Here's the plain difference:
- Supply only: you're pricing the panel kits and any separately listed parts you need. You arrange everything else.
- Supply and installation: you're pricing a finished fence. The quote should explain what work is included and what isn't.
If you're still deciding between the two, ask for both prices for the same fence. Then you're comparing like with like.
Scope questions that change your total
You don't need a price range for each of these. You need a clear answer to each one, because together they decide what the quote covers. Use these as questions for your own project and for any quote you receive.
Which panel style, and how many? Name the kit for each section. Ask the quote to state how many panels it includes and what other components are included or priced separately.
How long is each section? An approximate length for each run, measured with a tape or measuring wheel, gives the quote a starting point. If the measurements are checked on site later, ask whether the quote is based on your figures or on measured figures.
Do you need gates? Gates are usually priced separately from panels. Note where you need to get through the fence, and ask for gates to be listed on their own line.
What's on site now? An existing fence, garden beds, trees or a change in ground level along the boundary can all affect the scope. Mention them up front and ask how the quote handles them.
Supply only, or supply and installation? Say which one you want, or ask for both. A quote that doesn't say which it is can't be compared with one that does.
Delivery and exclusions Ask whether delivery is included and what the quote specifically leaves out.
Quote date and validity Note when each quote was issued and how long it remains valid. That matters if you're comparing quotes gathered weeks apart.
How to compare fencing budgets fairly
When you're weighing up quotes, line them up against the same checklist:
- The panel style and height named for each section
- The length or panel count each quote is based on
- Supply only, installation only, or supply and installation
- Gates, listed separately
- Delivery, site work and exclusions
- Whether the price includes GST
- The quote date and validity period
If one quote leaves an item out, ask about it before you compare totals. A lower number that leaves out gates or delivery isn't necessarily the cheaper fence.

- Photos of each fence section, taken from inside the yard
- An approximate length for each section
